GOOGLE'S PROJECT ALBUS

The Albus Project is an innovative pilot research initiative born at Google for Education, aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of education systems in multiple countries in Asia and three EU countries. By equipping schools with the essential technology and providing ongoing support, the project conducts in-depth research to assess the impact of digital technologies on teaching and learning outcomes.

Built on a foundation of strong partnerships with government bodies, schools, educational experts, leading technology companies, and academic researchers, Project Albus adopts a collaborative, evidence-driven approach to drive meaningful, sustainable change in education.

DIGITAL LEARNING CENTERS (DLCs) IN UKRAINE

A Digital Learning Center (DLC) in Ukraine is a dedicated space equipped with essential technology—such as internet access, devices, and reliable power—ensuring uninterrupted education. These centers serve both immediate needs, including online extracurricular activities, tutoring, and support for students with special needs, as well as long-term goals like teacher professional development and driving digital transformation in education.

DLCs also promote well-being and facilitate self-paced learning, offering opportunities for personal and academic growth. Aligned with the New Ukrainian School program, they create communities of educators and foster greater collaboration. Supported by Google for Education and local partners, DLCs are building a sustainable, technology-driven education ecosystem to advance learning in Ukraine.

UNESCO’s Digital Learning Gateways are platforms designed to provide students, teachers, and institutions with access to high-quality digital learning resources. These gateways offer a wide range of educational content, tools, and services that support personalized learning and professional development. The initiative focuses on bridging the digital divide by ensuring that all learners, regardless of geographic location or socio-economic status, have access to the digital resources they need to thrive in an increasingly connected world.
